Recently, I posted about my Travel Goals where I listed down some of the places that I have already visited and some places that I am still bound to explore in the future. It made me miss the few times that I was able to travel with the whole family so I have decided to check on Facebook when was the last time we got on a van and went somewhere else. Hence, our 2013 trip to Ilocos.

I wasn’t able to blog about this waaaay back because during that time I don’t have my own computer yet! Hahahaha. Anyway, have I mentioned that I prefer history than beaches? Most of the members of the family prefer seeing old structures or beautiful scenery than chilling on beaches. That’s probably why we chose to travel to Ilocos.

This was during the time my auntie went for a month long vacation in the Philippines to celebrate Christmas. Again, the year was 2013. I just like to share this with you guys because Vigan is a really beautiful city. This is actually a DIY Trip. What the family did was we rented a van with a driver of course and a family villa in Ilocos which I forgot the name already. The villa comes with a free breakfast already so it’s kind of a good deal.

The first time that I joined the group was during their MAGINHAWA STREET food crawl which I wasn’t able to share with you guys just because I’m so tamad to write about it. OKAY, WHATEVS.

So last February 12, a few days after the Chinese New Year, they asked me to tour them around Chinatown. Chinatown is a part of Binondo, Manila; the place where I grew up. A few places that is known in BINONDO is 1.) the beautiful Binondo Church (i was baptized here as a baby) and 2.) The Lucky Chinatown Mall and many more. But apart from that, Binondo is also known for their Chinese restaurants that serve nothing but delicious Chinese delicacies.
