#OTWOLSepAnx

It’s been a few days since we’ve all seen the wonderful conclusion to one of my favorite teleseryes of this age, “On The Wings Of Love”. When ABS-CBN first started giving teasers for this soap opera, I already felt that something good was about to start. And man, I was right.

What caught my attention about this series is that this showed us the beauty and the bad side of being an OFW in the States. What we see from our relatives an friends in social media is only a cover of what’s the true backbone of their life abroad. Plus, James & Nadine. I have been converted to a Jadine fan after I’ve seen Diary Ng Panget. They had sparks since then!

FFW to the last few weeks of OTWOL, I had never felt so much feels for a teleserye for awhile since this one! *cries. I had a roller coaster of emotions namely anger, bitterness, kilig, anger again, and so on. WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME DIREK TONETTE? But still, I just couldn’t get enough of Clark and Leah.

The final episode was just wow. I actually took a few notes on Cleah’s wedding. First, how they adopted the “Spoken Word Poetry” on the whole series and how this was beautifully executed on the wedding itself. Damn. I literally cried like I was the maid of honor. Second, the cameo of whatever brought them together and in Clark and Leah’s case: the kalapati! *swoons* And how can I forget the wedding vows which James himself co-wrote for the finalé knowing that he and Nadine became official couples a few days before made it even more special. I’m in love with these two.

I still feel SepAnx with the whole Tenement gang. It’s been the third night without them and I rarely get attached with teleseryes. To be completely honest, I am more into KDramas before. I just don’t like heavy dramas anymore given that adulthood gave me so much to deal with. The lightness of OTWOL’s aura is like a change of atmosphere from the chaotic scenes of adult life. Admit it! You also wished for your own personal kind of “Clark Medina”! :) Also, I kind of wished to have a family like theirs, simple yet very much joyful.

To end my OTWOL dedicated post (damn, can you believe how much of a fangirl I became?), I’d like to congratulate the whole team behind this wonderful series. You just didn’t know that you guys saved a life. Charing! But seriously, I can’t wait to see more of Jadine and their adventures together. :)! More soap operas to come and one last thing, OTWOL the movie please?
