I know that this quite overdue since I have finished reading this last year pa. This is actually the first time that I’ve read something that’s revolving around suicide and depression since I prefer books that are all rainbows and butterflies.

Anyways, My Heart and other Black Holes is a novel of Jasmine Warga. The novel revolves around a troubled Physics nerd Aysel and Roman – oh well, Roman is just a guy she met online.. but no, not facebook but on Suicide Partners. So yeah, while normal teenagers spend time on Social Media, Aysel, who has decided to call it quits with her potential energy and transform it into nothingness scroll through the pages of Suicide Partners to find someone who’s brave enough to do it with her. Hence, she met FrozenRobot.

I won’t give you guys anything more. This book says a lot of things about suicide, depression, and things that most depressed teenagers go through these days. Also, this novel is also packed with scenes that’ll make you feel all sorts of lonely. Prepare your tissues.
