I have seen several photos tagged as Friendship Goals all over the internet but really, what is the real meaning of best friendship to you guys? Its meaning has changed over the years. When I was ten years old, my idea of a best friend is someone you can share everything with, clothes, room, crushes, etc. Looking back, I am so grateful to have met someone whose craziness matches mine. But how do you keep these kind of people to your life? Let me share with five easy ways to make your friendship last.

Communication is important. Though nowadays technology gives us so many ways to contact each other, why not try to voice call your bestie every once in a while? It’s easier to share stories when you’re literally talking to each other right?

Some says absence makes the heart grow fonder, I don’t and will never ever believe in that saying. Always make yourself available for your friend. You don’t always know what’s going on in each other’s life and it’s okay just make sure that your best friend knows that you are always there and that he/she has someone to count on, ALWAYS.

It’s not necessary to see each other every other day, just make sure that you and your best friend have a time to bond. Go to the movies, do a sleepover, or whatever it is that you both enjoy doing. Spending time with each other makes your friendship even more stronger.

I added this on my list JUST BECAUSE, hahaha!!! I have people in my life who I consider very dear to me but most of them always forget my freakin birth date. It’s so heartbreaking. LOL. I’m just saying, that you have to keep important dates in mind. Not just birthdays tho’, especially with girls, girls can really be sensitive when it comes to this.

Friendship lasts if you just remain to be yourself. Changes are good, I’m not saying that it’s bad. In fact, if you change for the better chances are your bond becomes even more stronger. However, if you’re just trying to impress, it’s not a good sign and your friends might shy away from you. So just be yourself and if they really are your true friends, they will love you for who you are.

I’ve been through s lot of friendship break-ups and I must say that this is harder than breaking up with a guy. Those mentioned above are only a few things I’ve learned. I hope that with this, you can make your friendship with your bestie even more stronger. :)
